AMENDING CHAPTER 200, ARTICLE 13 OF’ THE ADMINISTRATIVE CODE PROVIDING FOR THE INSTALLATION OF STOP SIGNS IN THE CITY OF HOBOKEN COUNTY OWNED ROADWAYS
WHEREAS, the County of Hudson seeks to amend the Administrative Code at Chapter 200, Article 13 to provide for the installation of stop signs in the City of Hoboken, on County owned roadways; and
WHEREAS, the stop signs installation shall be conducted in accordance with the provisions of the State statutes concerning motor vehicles and traffic regulations and shall be maintained in operation as authorized by the New Jersey Department of Transportation; and
WHEREAS, these stop signs will provide safety measures to pedestrians and traveling motorists in the vicinity.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the County of Hudson, as follows:
1. Chapter 200, Article 13 of the Hudson County Administrative Code is hereby amended to read:

Garden Street at Tenth Street All Approaches
Garden Street at Eighth Street All Approaches
Garden Street at Sixth Street All Approaches
Grand Street at First Street All Approaches

Park Avenue at Eighth Street All Approaches
Park Avenue at Newark Street All Approaches
Park Avenue at Second Street All Approaches
Willow Avenue at Eighth Street All Approaches
Garden Street at Newark Street All Approaches
Hudson Street at Second Street All Approaches
Garden Street at Newark Street All Approaches
Hudson Street at Second Street All Approaches
Park Avenue at Fourth Street All Approaches
2. Proper regulatory signs be erected and maintained to effectuate the above-designed areas as set forth in the current “Manual of Uniform Traffic Control Devices for Streets and Highways; and maintained thereafter.
3. This ordinance shall take effect after the installation or signs and final passage, as
required by law.
