PUBLIC HEARING & 15-DAY PUBLIC COMMENT PERIOD
NOTICE IS GIVEN that Urban Hudson County and the Hudson County Consortium have prepared a draft of the Program Year (PY) 2025 Consolidated Annual Performance and Evaluation Report (CAPER). The draft CAPER will be available for a 15-day public comment period, and a public hearing will be held to provide an opportunity for the public to review and comment on the report.
The CAPER reports on the accomplishments and expenditures of the County’s Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), HOME Investment Partnerships (HOME), and Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG) programs during PY 2025. The report evaluates the County’s progress toward addressing the priority needs and goals identified in the Consolidated Plan and Annual Action Plan.
PUBLIC HEARING: Hudson County will hold a public hearing on the draft PY 2025 CAPER on Tuesday, September 2, 2026 at 5:00 p.m. The hearing will provide an opportunity for residents, nonprofit organizations, and other interested persons to review and comment on the County’s accomplishments and performance during PY 2025. The hearing will be held virtually and can be accessed by using the following link to register:

15-DAY PUBLIC COMMENT PERIOD: Citizens are invited to review and comment on the draft PY 2025 CAPER. The draft CAPER will be available for 15 days from August 31, 2026 through September 14, 2026. The draft may be viewed at the Hudson County Division of Housing & Community Development, 830 Bergen Avenue, Suite 5A, Jersey City, NJ 07306, Monday through Friday during regular business hours from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., and online at https://www.hcnj.us/housing-and-community-reintegration/housing-and-community-development/. Comments must be received by September 14, 2026 and may be submitted by mail at the address above, by phone at 201-369-4520, or by email to HCDHCD@hcnj.us.
