As an integral initiative of the Environmental Justice (EJ) program, we are eager to introduce Clean Hudson, a multifaceted collaborative effort between a non-profit entity, esteemed higher education institution, and local government agencies. Together, we are dedicated to tackling water pollution in Hudson County from a holistic perspective including education, community clean ups, and workforce development trainings. For a closer look at each of our valued partners and initiatives, please visit the partner tabs. This impactful partnership is made possible through funding from the United States Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) grant program.
The EPA’s Environmental Justice Government-to-Government (EJG2G) program provides funding at the state, local, territorial, and tribal level to support government activities that lead to measurable environmental or public health impacts in communities disproportionately burdened by environmental harms.
