The Hudson County Division of Planning provides information and recommendations for the orderly and proper development of the County. The Division provides staff support and technical assistance to the Hudson County Planning Board, the Hudson County Open Space Trust Fund Advisory Board and the Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy \u201cCEDS\u201d Committee.<\/p>\n

The Division of Planning is the driving force behind this initiative and played a key role in establishing each partnership and achieving the USEPA grant funding. Throughout the three year grant funding period, the Division of Planning will continue to serve as the facilitating body by coordinating across partner efforts, ensuring appropriate funding distribution, and report writing in line with EPA grant requirements.<\/p>\n

The Division of Planning will also hold several community outreach events and further the environmental education goals of the Clean Hudson program by creating and installing educational signage along the Hackensack River waterfront, within County Parks.<\/p>\n
