The National Do Not Call Registry gives you a choice about whether to receive telemarketing calls at home. Most telemarketers should not call your number once it has been on the registry for 31 days. If they do, you can file a complaint at National Do Not Call Registry.

NJ Charity Search App

The free Charity Lookup application is for the iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch. Built without using taxpayer money, the app is designed to help users make better-informed decisions before they donate to charities. The app is updated weekly, with information from the Divisions database on the financial records of 26,000 charities and nonprofits registered to solicit in New Jersey.

This app offers an easy interface that allows users to enter the charity name. A wildcard search is provided to help locate a charity if the full name is unknown.

NJ Professional License Look-Up App

The free Professional License Lookup application is for the iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch. Users can access the State Division’s license and registration database and find information about the approximately 600,000 individuals who provide services to the public, ranging from healthcare practitioners to home improvement contractors.

New Jersey Professional License Lookup for the iPhone and iPod Touch allows a quick and convenient way to check on the professional license status of doctors, nurses, contractors, accountants, and any other professional offering services that require state licensure by the Division of Consumer Affairs.
