Join us for a demonstration project and an information session! We’ll be talking about Vision Zero and installing a street treatment to help envision what safe streets in Hudson County could look like.

Demonstration projects are temporary, low-cost opportunities to test permanent solutions to improve walking, cycling, driving, and using public transportation on a roadway. These projects help evaluate potential roadway designs, including traffic patterns, pedestrian and cyclist behavior, and safety.

The Hudson County Vision Zero Action Plan team will be testing proven safety countermeasures at JFK Boulevard and Manhattan Avenue, including temporary changes to the roadway design and signals. The demonstration will last for approximately two weeks.
