HUDSON COUNTY DIVISION ON AGING
Hudson County Division on Aging Services was designated by the State of New Jersey as an Area Agency on Aging (AAA) and has been serving Hudson County seniors since 1976. Through the Office on Aging, all residents of Hudson County, 60 years of age and older and their caregivers, are eligible for services. However, emphasis is placed on the Older American’s Act provision to serve those seniors of greatest social and economic need, including underserved minority populations with limited language proficiency. The Division works in collaboration with community-based providers to help coordinate necessary services and referrals. The Division provides funding to the following service categories and provider agencies:
- Nutrition Support Services
- Community Services
- Home Services
- Access Services
- Adult Protective Services
- Senior Services Aged Blind and Disables Medicaid and Special Program
