Jersey City-The Hudson County Board of Freeholders approved accepting a $137,775 grant from the New Jersey Department of Labor and Work Force Development Opportunity Partnership Training Grant for Job Training.
The purpose of the grant is to provide Supportive Assistance to individuals in order to continue or enhance their employability through basic education skills training and job search/readiness services.
The grant is for fiscal year January 22, 2020 to January 21, 2021.
Hudson County Freeholder Chairman Anthony Vainieri and the Board of Chosen Freeholders are committed in their resolve in providing the necessary training resources needed to assist county residents in obtaining and maintaining gainful employment.
