Jersey City-The Hudson County Board of Freeholders approved the County of Hudson to accept the allocated funds from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, Ryan White HIV Emergency Relief Formula Grant totaling $1,865,254 for fiscal year 2020/2021.
The purpose of the program is to provide services that include outpatient, ambulatory medical care, essential support services, medical case management services and other core medical and social services programs for those living in Hudson County with HIV/AIDS.
The following agencies have been designated to receive funds: CarePoint Hoboken University Medical Center, Robert Wood Johnson Barnabas Health- Jersey City Medical Center, Hudson County Improvement Agency, HC Administration, God’s Love We Deliver, Hyacinth AIDS Foundation, Quality Management; Administrative Support Services and Data Coordination determined by RFQ process.
The program will run from March 1, 2020 to February 28, 2021.
Chairman Anthony Vainieri and The Board of Chosen Freeholders are committed to providing the needed financial services, support services, referral services, and prevention services to the residents of Hudson County who are living with HIV/AIDS.
