The Hudson County Board of Freeholders approved the County of Hudson to renew the Visiting Homemaker Services for Peer Grouping Certified Home Health Care, totaling $325,000.

The funds will be utilized by the Hudson County Department of Health and Human Services to help provide assistance to seniors and individuals with disabilities using Peer Grouping. This includes basic personal care, hygiene, grooming services.  These services will safeguard, strengthen and maintain clients functioning and family supports.

The grant period will be from January 1, 2019 to December 31, 2019.

Chairman Anthony Vainieri and the Hudson County Board of Freeholders are committed to addressing and providing the necessary resources to individuals in need of assistance.
