Jersey City-The Hudson County Board of Freeholders approved the Hudson County Sheriff to accept $15,125 for Click It or Ticket program.
The Click it or Ticket program funds will cover overtime salaries for Hudson County Sheriff Officers that maybe working the detail.
The project is designed to raise awareness about the dangers of drinking and driving and to offer deterrence through visible enforcement throughout Hudson County.
Chairman Anthony Vainieri and the Board of Chosen Freeholders are committed to raising awareness about the dangers of drinking and driving. This will show deterrence with the use of visible enforcement throughout Hudson County.
