The Hudson County Board of Freeholders re-allocated the Alcoholism and Drug Abuse Grant of $40,000 for fiscal year 2019 to the Department of Health and Human Services for Alcoholism and Drug Abuse.
The funds will be utilized for prevention, education, and intervention services for youth and adult outpatient substance use services in Hudson County. This will ensure the continuum of care and will enable individuals to complete their treatment.
The term of the grant will be until December 31, 2019.
Freeholder Chairman Anthony Vainieri and the Board of Freeholders are committed to providing treatment, education and prevention of the effects of Alcoholism and drug abuse to the residents of Hudson County.
