Jersey City-The Hudson County Board of Freeholders reallocated the Alcoholism and Drug Abuse Grant of $50,728 for fiscal year 2019 to the Department of Health and Human Services for Alcoholism and Drug Abuse.
The funds will be utilized for Short –Term Residential Treatment Services for Adults, Long-Term Residential Treatment Services for Adults, youths and Medically Monitored Inpatient Enhanced Detoxification for Adults and youth in Hudson County. This will ensure the continuum of care and will enable individuals to complete their treatment.
This grant extension will run through December 31, 2020.
Freeholder Chairman Anthony Vainieri and the Board of Freeholders are committed to providing the necessary resources needed to provide treatment, education and prevention of the effects of Alcoholism and drug abuse to the residents of Hudson County.
