The Hudson County Executive Thomas A. DeGise, the Board of Chosen Freeholders and the Office of Cultural Affairs/Tourism Development celebrate Black History Month by having a Pan-African Flag Raising Ceremony, Justice William J. Brennan Court House, 583 Newark Avenue, Jersey City, N.J., 07306.
The Black History Celebration will honor the past, the present and will look to the future.
The ceremony will be Tuesday, February 5, 2019, at 5:30 p.m.
Chairman Anthony Vainieri and the Board of Freeholders are committed to educating county residents on the contributions African-Americans have made to society as a whole. They celebrate the artistic contributions African-Americans have made to the world. Let us not only celebrate during Black History Month, Let us celebrate every day.
