Hudson County- The Hudson County Board of Freeholders accepted $63,433.69 from the New Jersey Division of Criminal Justice, New Jersey State Body Armor Replacement Fund.
These funds will be utilized to assist in the purchase of life saving equipment for officers in the Prosecutor’s Office, $8,221.98, Sheriff Officer’s, $24,924.95 and Officers of the Adult Correctional Facility, $30,296.60.
Freeholder Chairman Anthony Vainieri and the members of the Board of Freeholders are committed to providing the necessary resources needed to protect the lives of law enforcement officers who put their lives on the line each and every day.
