Hudson County– The Hudson County Board of Chosen Freeholders authorized the application and acceptance of $1,774,133 of funds, if awarded, from the New Jersey Department of Transportation 2021 Local Bridges Fund Program to repair county bridges and roads.
The grant will provide repairs to the following roads and bridges:
- Park Avenue (CR677) over Conrail-Weehawken Branches and Harbor Boulevard.
- Willow Avenue (CR675) over Conrail, 18th and South Streets.
- Secaucus Road (CR678) over Penhorn Creek.
- JFK Boulevard (RT 505) Eldorado Arch over Cliff.
- Ogden Avenue over Holland Avenue (abandoned).
- JFK Boulevard (CR693) over Cliff at East End of 77th
- JFK Boulevard (RT 501) over Path and Conrail.
- JFK Boulevard (RT 501) over NJ Transit Bergen Line.
- Nelson Avenue (CR689) over Secaucus Road.

11) Newark Avenue over National Docks Secondary.
12) Kearny Avenue (CR697) (Jones Memorial Bridge) over Conrail and NJ Transit.

15) Manhattan Avenue (CR683) (North Wing Viaduct) over Gorge.
16) West Hudson Park Road over Park Lake and Footpath.

Freeholder Chairman Anthony Vainieri and the Hudson County Board of Chosen Freeholders are providing the necessary resources to Hudson County municipalities in order for them to provide a safer environment on road ways and bridges for residents to travel on.
