The Hudson County Board of Freeholders approved the State of New Jersey Department of Human Services to award $1,889,900 to the Social Services Homeless Program in order for them to provide various programs and services to the homeless in Hudson County.
The purpose of this grant is to provide emergency assistance by means of shelter, food, prevention, and case management to needy individuals in Hudson County.
The term of this grant started January 1, 2019 and runs through December 31, 2020.
Chairman Anthony Vainieri, the Board of Chosen Freeholders and the County of Hudson are committed to providing the necessary financial support and social services needed to assist the homeless of Hudson County.
