The Hudson County Board of Chosen Freeholders held its re-organization meeting on January 7, 2020. The Board Chose Freeholder Anthony Vainieri who represents all North Bergen Chairperson for the fourth consecutive year. Freeholder William ODea who represents the west side of Jersey City was re-elected Vice-Chairperson of the Board of Freeholders. Freeholder Anthony L. Romano who represents all of Hoboken and a part of Jersey City was elected Chairperson Pro-Tempore.
Freeholder Jerry Walker who represents parts of Jersey City was designated as Voting Member for the Hudson County Board of Chosen Freeholders to attend all meetings and conferences of the New Jersey Association of Counties for the year 2020. Also Freeholder Joel Torres who represents parts of Jersey City was designated as Alternate Voting Member to the New Jersey Association of Counties for the year 2020.
