The Hudson County Board of Freeholders to honor, applaud and commend Reverend Raul Ruiz on being sworn in as President of the New Jersey Coalition of Latino Pastors and Ministers.
On December 4, 2019, Reverend Raul Ruiz, a much esteemed resident of the Garden State, was sworn-in as President of the New Jersey Coalition of Latino Pastors and Ministers.
Reverend Raul Ruiz is widely renowned and respected for his exemplary dedication to his church and steadfast commitment to his community.
Reverend Raul Ruiz has faithfully served for thirty-three years as Pastor of the Spanish American Baptist Church of Union City, located in Union City, New Jersey. Reverend Ruiz also serves as the Executive Director of the Spanish American Day Care Center. In addition to his pastoral work, he also served for four years as Area Director for the Board of International Ministries of the American Baptist Churches USA, working in the Caribbean, Mexico, Spain and Portugal.
Reverend Raul Ruiz has contributed to establishing a number of churches in the State of New Jersey and has served in various denominational boards and committees at State and national levels, including the New Church Planters Institute of the American Baptist Churches.
