HUDSON COUNTY EXECUTIVE CRAIG GUY STATEMENT ON NJ TRANSIT SAVING HUDSON COUNTY’S CRITICAL BUS ROUTES

JERSEY CITY, NJ — Tonight, Hudson County Executive Craig Guy released the following statement regarding NJ Transit saving Hudson County’s critical bus routes:

“I am delighted that NJ transit has committed to picking up the Hudson County Bus route service previously run by Coach USA.

“I thank NJ Transit for its commitment to Hudson County residents’ mobility.

“However, I would be remiss if I did not call upon our legislative delegation and our Governor to ensure that transit remains properly funded in the future and accessible to our communities. Fully funding NJ Transit is good for our commuters and for our communities.”
