The Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG)

The Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG) program, funded through the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development provides funding through local entitlement areas for:

  • Street Outreach
  • Emergency Shelter
  • Homelessness Prevention
  • Rapid Rehousing

Each year, the Division of Housing and Community Development releases an application to award these ESG funds to local non-profits operating the above-mentioned program types. Below is a link to the current Hudson County Policies and Procedures as well as a listing of current ESG funded programs in Hudson County.
