JERSEY CITY, NJ — Last week, Hudson County Executive Craig Guy, Chairman Anthony Romano, and the Board of County Commissioners celebrated Philippine Independence Day with a flag raising at the Historic Brennan Courthouse. The Philippine American Friendship Community Inc. was honored and given a citation at the event.
“I want to offer my best wishes to the people of the Philippines and those Filipino Americans living here in Hudson County on their Independence Day,” said Hudson County Executive Guy. “Filipino Americans enrich our community with their culture, and I’m proud of the melting pot that is Hudson County – a community that celebrates each other and shares traditions.”
