JERSEY CITY, NJ — Today, Craig Guy, Vision Zero Chairman and Hudson County Executive, announced the Hudson County Vision Zero Public Meeting schedule to inform residents about the County’s Vision Zero Plan and hear from residents about their suggestions and ideas for improving safety on County roads. These meetings will be held in a workshop style where residents are invited to drop by at any time during the scheduled meeting times.
“The Vision Zero Action Plan is an important step in eliminating deaths and serious injuries on our roadways, and it’s important that as we develop this plan, the communities that will be helped by this initiative have a voice,” said Hudson County Executive Craig Guy. “During these public meetings, Hudson County looks forward to hearing your thoughts on the initiative and our strategies to prioritize mobility for all roadway users in Hudson County, making our streets safer for everyone.”
The Vision Zero Task Force will host four public meetings. During these meetings, County staff will be on-hand to highlight Vision Zero outreach efforts, provide briefings on the latest updates, and answer any questions regarding the initiative.
