PURPOSE: The County of Hudson is seeking funding through the State of NJ Green Acres Program for improvements at Washington Park located at approximately 404 Paterson Plank Rd, near the intersection of New York Avenue and Paterson Plank Road in Union City, New Jersey, 07087.
PROJECT SCOPE: The County of Hudson proposes to create a new, fully inclusive playground at Washington Park. A concept plan showing the proposed changes, a preliminary cost estimate, and an environmental impact assessment can be found at: https://www.hcnj.us/hcparks/greenacres/.
PUBLIC HEARING INFORMATION: The public is encouraged to attend a public hearing to learn more about the proposal and to ask questions or provide comments on the proposed plan on Tuesday, January 23, 2024, at 6:00pm.* The meeting will be held in-person at the County Commissioners’ Chamber at 567 Pavonia Avenue, 1st Floor, Jersey City, New Jersey 07306.
