COUNTY EXECUTIVE GUY ANNOUNCES MEMBERS OF FIRST-EVER HUDSON COUNTY LGBTQ+ ADVISORY TASK FORCE
Jersey City, NJ — Today, Hudson County Executive Craig Guy has officially formed the first-ever Hudson County LGBTQ+ Advisory Task Force. Members of the Advisory Task Force, listed below, will advise Hudson County leadership to continue making Hudson County a more inclusive, equitable, and supportive environment for the County’s LGBTQ+ community.
“Hudson County is one of the most diverse, inclusive and hospitable communities in the nation, and I’m proud to form this LGBTQ+ Advisory Task Force and welcome our 17 members who, with their expertise, passion, and unique perspectives, will provide invaluable insight and recommendations to addressing the needs and concerns of our LGBTQ+ residents in Hudson County,” said Hudson County Executive Craig Guy. “We are grateful to the members of this Advisory Task Force, and we look forward to collaborating with this dynamic group to continue advancing towards a safer and more equitable environment for all individuals within Hudson County.”
Members of the LGBTQ+ Advisory Task Force were chosen by a selection committee comprised of officials across Hudson County government. These 17 members have a strong understanding of LGBTQ+ issues and passion for making Hudson County more inclusive and will meet quarterly each year.
The LGBTQ+ Advisory Task Force will hold its inaugural meeting in February. The Advisory Task Force is comprised of the following 17 members:
