Jersey City, NJ– Today, Hudson County Executive Craig Guy commended the Hudson County Board of Elections for expanding voting access with additional early voting locations for residents in Hudson County ahead of the 2025 general election. The effort is part of a broader countywide commitment to improving access to voting for every Hudson County resident, particularly in areas that have historically faced fewer opportunities or greater barriers to early voting.

“Voting is a pillar of democracy, and, during a time when Republicans across the country are chipping away at voting rights, I am proud that Hudson County is expanding voting opportunities for our residents,” said Hudson County Executive Craig Guy. “Over the past few months I have heard from numerous residents about the need to increase the number of early voting locations in our county. As County Executive, I am committed to working with our election officials to prioritize easy voting access for our residents.”

In Hoboken, voters will now have an uptown early voting site:
· 420 14th Street, Hoboken, NJ 07030 (The Studio, near the 14th Street Viaduct)

In Jersey City, residents will be able to take advantage of an additional five early voting locations spread throughout the city to better serve every neighborhood:
· 28 Paterson Street, Jersey City, NJ 07307 (Joseph Connors Senior Center)
· 160 5th Street, Jersey City, NJ 07302 (Puertorriquenos Asociados For Community Organization [PACO])
· 199 Ocean Avenue, Jersey City, NJ 07305 (Berry Gardens)
· 99 Broadway, Jersey City, NJ 07306 (Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church)
