AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 200, ARTICLE 27 OF THE ADMINISTRATIVE CODE TO ESTABLISH TRAFFIC CALMING DEVICES ON
HOBOKEN AVENUE AND CENTRAL AVENUE IN JERSEY CITY

BE IT ORDAINED, by the Board of Commissioners of the County of Hudson, as follows:

1. Chapter 200 of the Hudson County Administrative Code is hereby amended to read as follows:

ARTICLE 27 – Traffic Calming Devices

Hoboken

Name of Street: Central Avenue
Location: Hoboken Avenue
Municipality: Jersey City
Type: Do Not Block Intersection Signs and Pavement Markings

Name of Street: Central Avenue
Location: Court House Parking
Municipality: Jersey City
Type: Do Not Block Garage Driveway Signs and Pavement Markings

2. Do Not Block Intersection Signs and Markings shall be installed at the locations designated and in accordance with Manuel Uniform Traffic Control Devices to
control vehicular congestion on the roadway.

3. That the ordinance shall take effect after the installation of the Do No Block Intersection/Driveway Markings and final passage, as required by law.

Public Hearing on the above ordinance will be held at a meeting of the Board of County Commissioners of the County of Hudson on February 12, 2026 at 4:30 p.m. in the Commissioners’ Assembly Chamber, first floor, Hudson County Administration Annex, 567 Pavonia Avenue, Jersey City, New Jersey.
