14th St. Viaduct Park

As the 106-year-old 14th Street Viaduct was replaced in Hoboken, the County improved the land under the bridge with a new park. Vibrant LED lighting, decorative paving, landscaping, and new sports facilities and play areas have provided recreational space for residents in the northwest corner of the city and visitors from around the County. The replacement of the viaduct has now transformed this underutilized space into an attractive amenity for the residents of northwest Hoboken.

Recreation

Recreational amenities include a playground, dog run, basketball court, and two small soccer practice areas. The park is served by the NJ Transit 22, 23, 89, and 126 buses which run along 14th Street and the Hudson-Bergen Light Rail Ninth Street station is a short distance away. The replacement of the viaduct has now transformed this underutilized space into an attractive amenity for the residents of northwest Hoboken.
